You may remember SETI, the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence. Well, you can still contribute to research with the World Community Grid, also known as BOINC, the Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing. Hi, I'm Mark Niemann-Ross and welcome to this week's edition of Raspberry Pi Weekly. Every week we explore the Raspberry Pi and share useful tips. To contribute to the World Community Grid with BOINC, you'll need to first install it. Open up a terminal window and type in sudo apt-get update. Next, type in sudo apt-get upgrade. And now type in sudo apt-get install boinc. After you've successfully installed BOINC, go ahead and reboot. When your Raspberry Pi has rebooted, you'll find BOINC available in the Raspberry Pi…
