Every week we explore the Raspberry Pi and share useful tips. Connecting the GPS module to the Raspberry Pi is simple. First turn off the power to the Raspberry Pi and then follow this wiring diagram to connect the GPS module to the Raspberry Pi GPIO. All of the BN-180 modules have identical wiring, so this should be consistent with the module that you have in hand. When you've connected the GPS module, turn the power back on, let the Raspberry Pi reboot, then go to the Raspberry Pi configuration menu, select interfaces, and enable the serial port.
