- When I meet with a leader and they're complaining about their employee, which does happen sometimes, I always ask, "Have you told them this?" Most often the answer is either, "I'm going to tell 'em the next performance review," which you know, is like eight months away. Or they'll say, "Well, sort of," and they make this hand motion.
