- You are now ready to do your first test drive with the Project Canvas. Before you actually use the Project Canvas, conduct a kickoff meeting. As soon as your project is about to start, meet with the people that will be working on it. Include contributors, key stakeholders, the project sponsor, customers, suppliers, and anyone who can provide relevant information. Don't rush. Dedicate about two to three hours for this important kickoff meeting. During the meeting, start by sharing the background information and basic details about the project.
