- This course helps you build your initial project budget. But remember, few things have a shorter lifespan than a project budget. Early in the project, you'll be making adjustments as you determine the accuracy of your estimates. As risks occur and actual purchase costs are determined, your budget needs to be adjusted accordingly. Stakeholders request changes, business needs evolve, and errors are made when creating project deliverables. It's a dynamic environment and project costs need to be adjusted to be as accurate as possible to boost stakeholder confidence in the project. Because of this, I'll not only give you tips for building your budget, but also for adjusting it as you acquire more information. I've included a series of challenge scenarios and solutions later in this course, so you can practice applying what you've learned. Also, check out the exercise files.
