- [Instructor] Let's launch our discussion of continuous distributions with the uniform distribution. The uniform distribution works with continuous random variables where it looks for values between two bounds. In this distribution, all the outcomes are equally likely within the given interval. This is also sometimes called the rectangular distribution or continuous uniform distribution. It is also part of a group called the symmetric probability distributions that have vertical symmetry on both sides of the distribution. The Uniform Distribution focuses on an interval values and it is represented by the following variables.
