The long-term support version of Ubuntu server is typically what you're gonna find in the real world. As the name implies, a long-term support. So this image is supported till April 2021. If you wanna try the latest and greatest version of Ubuntu server, then download this version. This version only provides nine months of security and maintenance updates.
