Select multiple objects on a slide

- [Instructor] The first way to select more than one object on a slide is to left-click on a blank part of the slide, or even off the slide, and then hold down that click while you drag your mouse over. Your cursor will create a gray rectangle. Anything that is fully encompassed by that rectangle will be selected. I'll let go of the click, and all my objects are selected. Another way is to hold either the Shift key or the Control key on your keyboard while you select the objects. If you wish to un-select something, simply hold down the Shift or Control key and click on the object. When you have a very large number of objects on the slide, it can be difficult to select the right object. In this case, you can use the Selection Pane. In the Home tab, go to Arrange and select Selection Pane. This displays all the objects on the slide. To select multiple objects, hold down the Control key as you select them.
