Layering visual elements on a page

- Let's say, we're looking at visual elements on a Power BI page. If they're spread out like this, it looks like there isn't a layer order for the elements, but there actually is. If we move the elements together so they overlap, we can see there's a distinct order in which Power BI layers the elements. The layers have an order on the page, regardless of whether or not they're on top of each other. We can think of these elements as separate layers that we can work with to create a consolidated dashboard view and even to group some of the elements together. Grouping is when we take two or more visual elements and combine them together into a single item that's a visual element rather than two or more separate ones.
