Creating a branch means creating a new version of the code base. Create branches so you can experiment without impacting the main code. When you're done making changes, merge your work back to the main branch. Build refers to translating or processing files into usable or executable form. Some files need to be compiled, packaged, or compressed. A pull request is a request to review code before it's merged back to the main branch. This process helps foster collaboration and discussion of changes. A commit is the action of applying changes to a repository. Commits represent a snapshot in a timeline or a history of revisions.
