We have four routers, R1, R2, R3, and R4, configured with OSPF in area 0. The target network is the loopback interface 4.4.4.4/32 on R4. And R1 has multiple paths to reach it. The primary path based on the IGP cost is from R1 to R2 to R4 with a total cost of three. First, let's start by enabling TI-LFA link protection on interface gigabit 0/0/0/0 of R1, which we covered in the previous lesson, router ospf ARASH, area 0.0.0.0, interface gigabit0/0/0/0, fast-reroute per-prefix, fast-reroute per-prefix ti-lfa enable. After configuration, R1's IGP recalculates the best path, assuming that the gigabit0/0/0/0 link could potentially fail.
