- [Instructor] Before you begin migrating your virtual machines, it can also be worthwhile to take a look at the user preferences. Admittedly, there aren't many user preferences that you can configure. In fact, there's only one. But I want to show you what that looks like nonetheless. So what I'm going to do is go to the Settings section and click on User preferences. And you can see that the one option that exists is to turn on migration tips. So, if you select the Show tips checkbox, which I'll do right now, what's going to happen is that, as you progress through the migration process, tips will occasionally be displayed on screen that can help you out, that can give you helpful advice regarding best practices or maybe some things that you might have missed along the way. For my purposes, I'm going to go ahead and turn off Show tips. Although I would recommend leaving this enabled if you're unfamiliar with the application migration service.
