- [Instructor] Even though installing the replication agent is normally, a relatively straightforward process, things can and sometimes do go wrong. For example, if you look at the screen, you can see that I'm getting an error, indicating that kernel headers are missing or not properly configured, and then the error goes on to tell me to please install the appropriate kernel headers, and then it says that installation failed. So being that errors do sometimes happen, I wanted to spend a bit of time, talking about some troubleshooting steps. Now, before I get into showing you the troubleshooting process, there are two things that you need to know. First of all, the error messages are sometimes misleading. As a matter of fact, the error that is causing the message that you see right here actually has absolutely nothing to do with kernel headers.
