- In this video, I want to look at some of the controls and options that you have available during video calls or meetings in Teams. Keep in mind that some of these options only work in the desktop application and are not available if you use Teams on the web. I have a group meeting already in progress, so I'll switch over to that window where I can see my teammates already there in the meeting. Hello, everybody. And the options that we're going to work with are generally up here in the toolbar up at the top. Now, in another video, we talked about how to turn your camera or your microphone on or off. We have those options here. There's a button here to share your screen. We'll cover that in another video. So let's start with the Chat button on the far left. When you click that, it opens a panel on the right where you can send text-based chat messages.
