Translate messages in other languages
- [Instructor] Teams can help you when you are working with people who communicate in a language that you don't know or you don't know well. First, you should set your preferred language. So near the top right I'll click the button with three dots to open this menu so we can go to settings. In settings, we'll go to the category for appearance and accessibility, then scroll down until we see the option for language. Now my language is set to US English, but this first option is the language for the Teams interface. I do want this set to US English, and if you change this, you will need to restart the Teams application. But what we really want to see now is the translation language below that. In a moment, we will see the translation tool, but it's important that you set the language that you want messages to be translated into. You might use this if you are learning a new language.
