- [Instructor] All of the conversations that you have in your Teams will be organized into something called channels. We use channels to organize different conversation topics. Channels are listed under the name of each Team, and if you click the triangle next to a Team name, it will hide or show those channels. If you're using the education version, we'll talk about how this might look a little different at the end of this video. Now, before 2024, every Team would start with one channel called General, but now Team owners can choose a different name for the default channel. So when I made this Web Design Team, I chose the name open discussion for that default channel. Now, to make another channel, you can point at the name of a Team, you'll see this button with three dots will appear to the right.
