Invite people to a private team
- [Presenter] Anybody in your organization is free to join a public team, but if a team is set to be private, then nobody can join that team unless the team owner adds them or sends them an invitation. In the video on creating a team, we saw how the team owner can manually add people, but if you make a private team, you may prefer to send people an invitation, and that gives each user the option to join if they want. I made this team called Web Design and it is a private team, and we have two options to invite somebody. First, you can point at the name of the team and a button with three dots will appear to the right. You can click that to open this menu and you can click where it says Get link to team. Now, any member of the team can come here and get this link. And from here you can click this copy button, then paste the link into an email or something like that and send it to whoever you want.
