- [Instructor] If you share Word, Excel, or PowerPoint documents in teams, you can edit and co-author those documents with your teammates in real time from within the Microsoft Teams interface. Here in this channel, I could click on a file that has been shared to open it, or I could go over to the files tab and open a file from here. So I'll click on this Microsoft Word document, and since I chose a Word document, I am able to edit that document right here in teams. So I could make a change here, I could select some text or I could change something. And this only works with Office documents like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. You can open and view other types of files like pictures or PDF files, but those will be view only, you will not have these editing options.
