- [Instructor] In Teams, you can acknowledge messages without actually writing a response. You can point your mouse cursor at a message, and when you're pointing at it, you'll see this row of buttons will appear at the top right. That row will only be there when you're pointing at the message. Now, the thumbs up, the heart, and the faces here are all reactions that you can apply to a message. It's similar to liking a message on Facebook. So all you need to do is select a reaction, and it will be applied to that message. I can see it now below the message, and everybody else in this team will see that reaction. So you can use this as a way to acknowledge that you saw and read a message but you don't actually have anything to say as a response. Or you might use it to show that you're excited or enthusiastic about something. And if you added a reaction by mistake, you can just click on it to remove it.
