- [Instructor] One of the most common resources in an Azure subscription is an Azure storage account. A storage account is essentially a repository where you can store any type of data such as files, queues, or blobs. And then that data can be accessed by applications or users, or any other service that you may have within Azure or outside of Azure, on the internet or on your on-prem network. So storage accounts is one of those fundamental resources that we create in the most basic of Azure subscriptions. And if I go into an Azure storage account, I see that I have some settings that relate to networking. I will want to take that storage account and actually connect it so that it becomes accessible by applications or users, or whatever I need to use to connect to the data that is stored in the storage account.
