What is defense in depth?
- [Instructor] Defense in Depth aims to safeguard data and stop it from being stolen by someone who doesn't have permission to access it. A Defense in Depth approach employs many techniques to slow the progress of an attack that seeks to gain unauthorized access to data. You can visualize Defense in Depth as a set of layers with the data to be secured at the center in all the other layers protecting that central data layer. Be sure to remember and understand this diagram because you can get some questions about this in your AZ-900 exam.
