- Welcome back to Web TV Workshops Course 1. In the last lesson, Dianna explored key elements to a successful pitch package. In today's marketplace, having a pitch package is not enough, we always recommend to our students that having a pitch site or digital version of your pitch package is very important when pitching your show to networks and advertisers, or what we like to call, "The Buyer". The first key element to a successful pitch site is the homepage. The homepage design should reflect the tone, look and feel of the series. For instance, if your series was a children's show, using things like bright primary colors and easy to read text and dynamic visuals could be imperative when reflecting the tone of the series.
