Manage files and permissions in Linux
- [Grant] Linux service manage some of the largest file archives in the world. Permissions and access controller and necessity and managing file and cloud storage servers. What is a file in Linux? Everything is a file. The text output from commands, magic files full of data but having no size, hardware devices, and of course, traditional files like photos and documents. In this course, you will learn about Linux is fascinating and unique philosophy concerning files and how to manage them. You will learn to use advanced extended globs to match files with a power of regular expressions. Later, we'll take the mystery out of Linux permissions and you will learn how to grant access to users for resources they need. We'll also skip to the future and use file access control lists to break through the limitations imposed by legacy permissions. We'll also configure inheritance. So users have automatic access to files that will be created in the future. You will finish the course knowing how to save the permissions of every file in your computer and restore those permissions in a single key press. Welcome to Linux Files and Permissions.
