- Thank you for joining me in this course. In this course, we got to know the Linux shell better and learned where to put Bash variables, aliases, and functions. We learned about Bash pattern matching and shell options. We also learned how to chain multiple commands together using named and unnamed pipes while redirecting the output to a file. Processes and scheduled jobs are no longer a mystery as we spent time monitoring and interacting with them. We ran processes asynchronously in the background and we're still able to interact with them. We covered how to send signals to processes and even terminate them forcibly if necessary. We created one-time scheduled jobs, as well as recurring jobs, and learned how to restrict who can create them. Lastly, we learned how to manage system services using systemd.
