Collaborate, assign tasks, and stop sharing
- We know how easy it is to share one of our word online documents with others, if you were following along in the previous movie. But what's it like to receive an invitation to access a document using a link that was shared from someone else? That's what we're going to explore in this movie. You can see I'm actually logged in as someone else here, Lynn Nguyen, that's the person we sent out our document to; shared it with her as part of the organization to go in and edit. So she's logged into Microsoft 365 looking at her homepage, and sure enough, there's a link to a document that was shared by this guy, David Rivers. Also, if she happens to be in Outlook, working away in her email, she'll receive a new message: "David Rivers has shared a document," There's the name of the document at the top, there's the short note: "Please make changes as necessary." And you can see that this link works for anyone in Red 30…
