- [Instructor] To browse files in places other than my home folder, I can open the Files app and click on Other Locations. We saw this a little bit earlier when we explored connecting to shared folders over the network. This view shows me the disks attached to my system. Here's my hard drive. And if I connected other disks, USB drives, or optical drives, they'd show up here as well. I'll click on my hard drive and I see a lot of folders and files with weird names. We're looking at the root of the file system, and these items are what make the system work.
