- [Instructor] If you work in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel or PowerPoint, you may have already discovered that there are different views you can switch to within each of these apps like normal, slide sorter and reading view. These views help you visualize the content in a different way. It also provides a way to have more space to view a files content by hiding the ribbon and other app components. I'm going to show you how you can do the same thing with a OneNote notebook. We're going to start here. The view that we are currently looking at for this notebook is what's known as the editing view. It's the default view for a notebook and it's likely the view that you'll work in most of the time for your notebooks. But when you want to change that view, you'll need to go to the view ribbon.
