- [Instructor] In this movie, I will show you how to create boxplots using Minitab Open exercise file 03_00_supplierdelivery. In the first two columns are delivery times of suppliers A and B. Boxplots are a fantastic display of variation. And to do that with Minitab, go up to graph, boxplot. And since we have two columns and multiple Ys, let's display them separately and highlight the first two columns for Y-variables. And we have no categorical variables, so let's skip that and I'd like to have them in separate panels on one graph. In order to have a good basis for comparison, make sure you have the same scale for all graphs and that is found in the options box, also you have a choice of showing interquartile range box, which is the default outlier symbols, which is a very good way of showing data points that are outside the norm, so to speak and is displayed by asterisks.
