- [Instructor] I find that updating Excel online permissions is best managed from OneDrive. And the easiest way to follow along for this movie is to work with an Excel online file that's already been shared with someone else. I'm using the file from the previous video. In OneDrive, you can see that the file I created, called my file, has already been shared with someone else. Hence, the text descriptor that you can see here called shared. And depending on which version of Excel online you are working with, you may even see the activity to the right hand side that tells us who we've shared the file with. Let's go ahead and select the file by clicking on the check to the left hand side and then click on the info box at the top right hand side of the screen.
