- [Narrator] I've plugged the USB drive into the computer that I'm going to install CentOS on. When I turn it on, I'll make sure to boot up from the USB drive. On my computer, sometimes I need to press F 10 to choose a boot selector, but, yours might be different. From the list of devices that are shown on my system, I'll pick the USB disk, and start booting from it. As the system boots from the installer, I see options here to install CentOS 7, to test this media and install CentOS 7, or to go into a troubleshooting mode. After a little while, the installer starts up, and I'm prompted to choose which language I want to use. I'll keep my system on English, United States, and I'll mouse down into the corner to continue. Here on the installation hub, I can choose all of the options that I want to configure for my installation. The first thing I'll do is set my date and time. I'm not in New York.
