- [Narrator] Before you get started with this course, there are a few things you should know. You should already be familiar with the basics of writing code and Java. So if you're completely new to Java, I'd suggest watching the course Learning Java before starting this one. If you're comfortable with the basics of writing Java code it's times open your favorite IDE. I'll be working in IntelliJ which has a free community edition You can download from jetbrains.com/idea/download. But you can use whichever IDE you're most comfortable with.
