- [Instructor] While you may be a great driver, you realize it is an inherently risky activity that may also have impacts on others. Impacts can be on individuals like pedestrians when making a left hand turn, groups like a school bus of children, and indirectly on societies like the effects of your driving, and what it does to climate change and traffic congestion. Just as we consider how driving affects others, the impact clause requires that the organization define a process for assessing the potential consequences for individuals and groups that can result from the development, provisioning, or use of AI systems. The final sub clause under the Planning clauses are 6.1.4, AI impact assessment, 6.2 AI objectives and planning to achieve them, and 6.3 planning of changes. When planning an impact assessment, it is good to remember that AI doesn't correct incompetent governance. It merely behaves as an accelerator.
