Identifying participant needs

There comes a point in a training analysis where we understand what our audience needs to do differently, but we don't yet know what they need to do to get there. In other words, how can we help our audience achieve the training program's goals? And, does everyone need the same training? Or do we need to tailor it to different audience members? In this video, we'll look at ways you can answer those two questions and identify your audience members needs. By this point in an analysis, we've assembled a lot of data, analyzed it, and started answering many of our research questions. Now it's time to put all that together so we can view the big picture. A tool that can help with this is called a fish-bone diagram. It's also called an Ishikawa chart, named after Kaoru Ishikawa, who's credited with inventing it.
