- [Instructor] We have a start to our navbar here. We clearly have a long way to go. And there's several things I'm sure that are bothering you about this navbar at this moment in time, one of the notable ones is probably the colors of these links and the underlines that are there. So to get rid of that type of stuff, we're going to need to style the link itself. In the JavaScript panel here inside of codepen, I've put in a comment which will remind you of the five states of a link. So there are five link states, you don't have to use all five of them inside of your document, but whichever ones you choose to use, they need to be kept in a very strict order in order for the cascade and inheritance to work correctly. If you put these in just any order, your links will look very odd and not work correctly. And so those five possible link states are link and visited, those are those pseudo classes.
