- [Instructor] For the first few videos in this course, I focused on some very generic sort of styling that you can apply to either horizontal or vertical navigational bars. At this point in time, I'm going to go down the path of styling of vertical navbar as we start to talk about spacing and so forth, but keep in mind that the techniques that I'm going to demonstrate here inside of this chapter as we create a vertical navigation bar, a lot of these techniques can be applied to horizontal navigational bars as well, which I'll talk about in the next chapter. So right now I've got some lovely hot blue links here, they've got a lovely orange hover state. The next thing I might want to do is turn these into a panel of links, a bunch of links inside of a box. Sometimes they have a title associated with them.
