- [Instructor] Printing a list of files in a folder is easy at the command prompt. The files show up here as a list, all plain text. You can use IO redirection to send the file list to the printer. This method is really nerdy, considering that many people don't bother with the command prompt these days. When Windows introduced the file manager, ancestor of the file explorer window shown here, a print file list command was absent and it's still gone. When you need to print a list of files from a folder you must follow these graphical steps. First, select all files in the folder, press the Control + A, keyboard shortcut or you can select only those files necessary for your list. Choose the copy path command which here is found on the overflow, these three dots, copy path.
