- [Instructor] When an active internet connection is available, the files you see locally on OneDrive are also available on the cloud, synchronized instantly. This is the OneDrive folder on my computer, and all these files are saved to the cloud. Flags on the icons indicate how a file or folder is stored. A green checkmark flag means that the item is available both locally and on the cloud. A cloud flag icon indicates that the file is still available, though it's not stored locally. This condition isn't bad. You can open the file, and it's downloaded and made available automatically. But keeping files on the cloud and not stored locally does conserve storage space. To change a file status, you right-click the icon in this folder. Choose Always keep on this device to add the green checkmark and ensure that the file remains available even when the internet is offline. The files are now stored locally on my computer.…
