- Welcome to this course, "Hands-on Data Science." In this course, you're going to learn four different skills of popular data platforms. We're going to start by analyzing employee data with SQL. This way, you can understand how to traverse a very complex dataset using the most popular language in data, SQL. Then we'll dive into Tableau, a powerful data visualization platform, and we'll build a sales dashboard that would be something you could use in the real world. Next, we'll wade into the waters of Python and actually analyze some sales data using Python code itself in a Jupyter Notebook. And lastly, we'll explore the big data platform Spark, where you can run SQL and Python together to come up with really interesting analysis of our services dataset.
