- Now let's dive into one of the most powerful data platforms out there, Spark. For this, we're going to use Databricks, and Databricks is a cloud hosted provider of Spark. A lot of the people that created Spark now work at Databricks, but they have a community edition that we can use for free and that's really good for learning and set up. It doesn't matter if you're on a Mac, a PC, Linux, whatever. We can go to databricks.com and then go to Try Databricks. Then you'll create your Databricks account. After you enter your account credentials, you go ahead and scroll down and say, Get Started with Community Edition. Then after that, verify your account details and email, and we'll hop back in to the community edition of Databricks and get started working with data. So here is the Databricks platform.
