Intro to Google Workspace
- [Oliver] Google Workspace, previously known as Google Suite, is a set of tools and applications including Gmail and Google Drive that are designed to help with improving productivity. With tools like Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, it's easy to create and share resources with others. You can store files and resources in the cloud using Google Drive, access them from anywhere with an internet connection on almost any device, and collaborate on them in real time with others. I'm Oliver Schinkten, lifelong instructor. And over the past decade, I've not only had the opportunity to use Google products on a daily basis, but I've also been teaching others how to use them as well. From tools like Gmail and Google Calendar to Google Drive and its integrated apps like Docs, Sheets, and Slides. There's so much you can do with Google Workspace. I'm excited to show you some of the ways that you can use it to be more productive. Although it would be impossible to cover all the features and tools in Google Workspace, my goal in this course is to introduce tips for some of the most common features and how you can use them to be more productive. Let's get started.
