Access files offline
- [Instructor] Saving files to the cloud is great because it allows you to access them from anywhere that you can get on the internet. However, what if we want to work on something, but we don't have access to the internet? Well, Google provides a tool that allows you to view your files offline and even edit files created with Google Docs, Sheets and Slides. I want to take a look at how to do this. Now, from inside of my Google Drive storage, I'm going to go to the upper right where there's the gear icon. If I click on this, I want to select settings, and these are my settings. Now, note that you do have to be online when you're setting this up. On the left hand side of my settings, I want to make sure I'm on the general tab, and then in the middle there's a setting for offline. It says, create open and edit your recent docs, sheets, slides, files on this device while offline.
