I'm going to collapse my drive on the left so we can see things a little more clearly. I'll click Shared drive. A shared drive is a repository where all of your teammates can access the same files. The beauty of this is that if any of your teammates ever leave, they don't take the work with them. It's going to remain in that shared drive. If they move to a different team, it's not going to clutter up their drive with files that no longer are meaningful to them. They're still going to be stored in your team's drive.
