Convert files to Google doc format
- [Instructor] You can convert files to Google Docs format. With your file as a Google Doc, you'll get fantastic collaboration tools as well as the ability to work on your document anywhere. Now, the nice thing about Google Drive is that you can collaborate and edit on native Microsoft Office documents, such as Word or Excel. This is fantastic, but it might be worth it to you to convert it. Maybe you need to send a doc to somebody who doesn't use Microsoft Office. In that case, let's go into the work folder and I'll show you how to do it. Let's investigate this Landon Hotel Employee Handbook. I'm going to change to list view. I can tell it's a Word document because one, the file extension, and two, the icon on the left hand side. I'll start by double clicking on it.
