- [Narrator] You can customize the way your files and folders are displayed to you in Google Drive. So let's go over all the ways that you can change the view. I'll click My Drive to get back to the root of Google Drive. Now, at the very top of the screen, you'll see some suggested documents. These are files that you might have accessed or uploaded recently or worked with similar content. Drive is conveniently putting them here so that you can find them. I'm going to go into my Work files folder. We're looking at this in list view for now, which is your folders first, followed by all of your files. And don't forget, you can always change this to grid layout so that you can see a thumbnail view of your files. Now, list view also tells you a little bit more about the detail of your files, such as who owns them, when they were last modified, and the file size.
