"Hi Joe! I really enjoyed diving into these design patterns! It's fascinating how they can be tailored to fit the specific nuances of this language.
Regarding the Patterns presented on this course, specially Factory, and the Observer pattern in the behavioral section, I did notice it might require a bit more adaptation to truly align with the Go language's nature. While they may work well in smaller examples, I can't help but wonder how they'd perform in a real, complex application. It would be interesting to explore further and see if we can fine-tune them for real-world scenarios!
Thanks for the engaging content, looking forward to more insights and discussions in this course!
课程详情
Go, a multi-paradigm programming language, features design patterns that allow developers to address common problems efficiently. In this course, senior developer advocate Joe Marini covers creation, structural, and behavioral design patterns. Joe begins with an overview of design patterns and design pattern categories. Then he gives you overviews and examples of several creational patterns, including builder pattern, factory pattern, and singleton pattern. He does the same for structural patterns, covering adapter patterns and facade patterns. Joe concludes with behavioral patterns such as an observer pattern and an iterator pattern.
