Add social media cards
- [Ray] Promoting projects through social media is a big part of helping them be discovered. Let's improve the value of our social media posts by including a social card for a project on GitHub. Let's say you have a core repository and you want to create a post about it. I'm going to go to my URL link here and copy this to my clipboard. And then I'll switch over to LinkedIn and start a post. I'm going to paste that URL and you'll notice that we get a social media card, but it's very generic. By default this is going to show just the URL and your preview photo, but we can improve on that. Let's go back to the repo, click on settings, and scroll down to the section that says social preview. Now the images should follow a specific format and there's a template that you can download by clicking here. Let's go ahead and upload a photo.
