- [Narrator] One of the fun things about financial models is the ability to attack problems in order to make decisions that other people are confused about. One great example of this is is in the widely discussed bitcoin and cryptocurrency space. There's a lot of discussion, at present, in the financial markets about what these cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, are worth, if anything. A financial model can help us drill down on that issue. Let me show you what I'm referring to. So, this is a rather sophisticated, or advanced financial model, but it's different than many of the models that we've talked about thus far. In particular, we're looking at an investment in an intangible asset, in this case the bitcoin, and we're trying to understand what it'll be worth in the future.
