Inflation has spiked to a degree that it hadn't done in decades, going back to say the 1970s or 1980s in most places. Now, that's just the big picture, right? In the case of certain goods, like say cars and trucks, the problem might be even worse. Here as an example, the year over year change in prices for used cars and trucks across the country. We see in June 2021, used car and truck prices on average were up 45% versus a year ago period, right? In other words, you might've been paying $20,000 for a car before the pandemic and then you get 2021 or 2022, and it's now $30,000 for that car. An enormous change.
