- [Instructor] Now that the score for the Woodwind Quintet is finished and formatted, it's time to format the individual parts. So let's open up the Linked Parts file and let's start by going to the Document menu and choosing Manage Parts. So whenever I finish formatting a score, in preparation for working with the parts, I'll typically regenerate them. And the reason I do that is because I want to pick up every last little change that I've made as I was finishing the score. Before I click the Generate Parts button to do that, I want to double-check to see how Finale is going to go about doing it. So I'm going to click the Part Creation Preferences button and here, I can double-check to make sure that it's going to create multi-measure rests.
