- [Instructor] If you want to transfer the information from the score you're creating to another application, Finale has several options. Let's look at how to export MIDI, XML, and audio files. So I've got the exporting files, Finale file open and let's go up to the file menu and down to export. So we have several options here, and we're going to talk about most of these, and we'll also talk about things like EPUB and PDF in the next video. But let's start with MIDI files. So I'm going to choose the export MIDI file option and then I'm going to save this to the desktop, so let me click that and then I'll click save. Now it's going to ask me in this dialogue which MIDI file format that it wants to save as. So if we choose format one, you'll notice that it says all instruments saved to separate tracks.
